Obesity Has Deeper Causes
Results from the 1999-2002 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES), using measured heights and weights, indicate that an estimated 65 percent of U.S. adults are either overweight or obese.
One of the national health objectives for 2010 is to reduce the prevalence of obesity among adults to less than 15 percent. However, the NHANES 1999-2002 data for persons age 20 years and over suggest an increase in the proportion of obese adults in the United States, where the estimated age-adjusted prevalence moved upward from a previous level of 23 percent to a new level of approximately 30 percent.
As you notice these statistics are not 2006 results. You can look around and bet that even though we are much closer to 2010, that statistics for obesity are not going down.
The responsibility for obesity lies with an individual. It can not be answered or fixed by the government or the medical field.
Overweight or obese people have to get real with themselves. Weight can be changed if people become responsible for their own health. Sure it would be nice that farmers and growers would mineralize soil, stop using insecticides, and mutating seeds..................Yet blaming others, is not the determining factor in reducing ones weight.
An authentic weight plan is for each person to go inside self and do one's own inner homework. That means they clean up the 'stuck' emotions, beliefs, perceptions that they hold inside as body fat and/or mass.
When one is experiencing being overweight and/or obesity it is the 'Self' telling the person that something is wrong. Causes are much deeper than the physical level. The body is crying out for a person to make changes and to go deeper and nourish self. Obesity as well as all other aches, pains, dis-ease are the result of deeper causes in the emotional, mental, and physical levels. They are all messengers calling out for help.
