Today it is in the news quite a bit about California considering a state wide health program like Massachusetts already has in place. This is state wide universal health coverage. 

These ideas are already causing debate about who will pay for 'all the people' to have insurance and health care. The focus is not about the health care, it is who will have to pay for it?

(As a retired nurse, this is the very reason I got out of the nursing field. Money was much more important than helping the people.)

Hospitals and medications, of course are ultimately important in the cases of trauma, accidents, and major dis-eases that have already manifested in someone's life. Thus, health care insurance and provisions are necessary. Walmart has made it easier for people to be able to afford their medications. Health care is changing.

Authentic Health Association promotes improvements in health provisions for all people. Yet we still ask, 'why is not more attention being given to preventing symptoms rather than treating them?' We highly support  companies that are developing wellness plans for their workers - such as making coaching and counseling available for addictions, obesity, and lifestyle changes.

Authentic Health Association promotes media (TV, radio, magazines, journals, advertising) that is moving towards 'sustaining authentic health' = educating and informing people as to how they can 'be true to themselves and sustain wellness.'

Thus we are affiliating with health providers and companies, schools, media that are focusing on and supporting well-being. We can strive to be WELL! Education... teaching (children, parents, mentors, employers, instructors, etc.) about how to stay WELL. (Join with us.........call 828-278-0460)

We believe that the focus of health care is due for a major overall............Let's stay WELL, Happy, and Enjoy quality of life. All our innate gifts...Focus on these not the other end of the sea saw that is far from 'being true to self'.
