Authentic Health and Wellness Is Experiencing Emotion
Well renowned scientist and researcher Dr. Candance Pert has found that physical health and wellness is determined by cell memory.... Not the brain.
As a long time health and wellness consultant, I agree wholeheartedly. After years of teaching, nursing, being an Attitudinal Healing facilitator, and an authentic health and wellness coach, I find that whatever symptoms one may be experiencing...........it is primarily caused or experienced due to emotions being stuck in the body.
Due to Dr. Pert's research, many people agree that it is the emotions that is the bond, facilitator, connector of the mind and body experience that we humans are living out while in body.
After having been a Hospice and Addictions Nurse, I can assure you many people have to experience a devestating illness to realize that it is their emotions and feelings they are not paying attention to. The symptoms/dis-ease processes are messengers 'yelling out' to someone who is not paying attention to emotions and feelings that are eating away at them from the inside out.
Up until lately, people did not like being told that a lot of health and wellness issues are caused by the mind. They take it as the doctors think they are making up their symptoms and illness. They are afraid people think they are crazy. When in fact, that is farthest from the truth.
In authentic health and wellness, people do not get offended because they know they are responsible for their well-being. They accept that their mind causes thoughts and beliefs and it is this that influences wellness a great deal. They know they create what happens in their life.
To go even further, we have to realize that emotions stuffed away in our cellular memory (all over the body) has great influence on what our body experiences. Negative and 'victimhood' emotions cause illness and dis-ease.
If you are truly interested in Holistic Health, you can make it authentic if you also accept your emotions and feel your feelings. Too often people cover up the emotions whether it be denial and/or spiritual grandiosity. Emotions are the connection between the mind and the body. We do not deny them or cover them up in Authentic Health and Wellness.
